Bertie Odendaal

Bertie is an experienced senior leader in the pharmaceutical industry. He is currently the Head of Transformation Global Therapeutic Areas at Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH. He is passionate about digital health and its potential to positively impact the lives of millions of patients as well as the importance of cultural transformation.

He held several senior and executive leadership roles including country and global marketing where he successfully led global launches of blockbuster brands in both primary and specialty care. He also has several years’ experience in country management, regional business management for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan as well as business innovation at a global level.
