Vinod Khosla is an investor and technologist, and a recurring member of the Forbes Midas List as one of the world’s top tech investors. He is the founder of Khosla Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm that invests in transformative technologies across a variety of sectors, including health care. Prior to founding his firm in 2004, he was a general partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byer, and a founder and CEO of Sun Microsystems.
He has written that 80% of physicians’ work will ultimately be replaced by data science, AI and associated tools. To create this future, his portfolio companies are developing wearable health sensors, digital disease management apps, cancer diagnostics, liquid biopsies, genome editing and broad applications of AI.
